Ms. Karen Maxwell
<p><!--block-->Ms. Karen began her career at KinderCare with a Kid's Choice (School Age and Kindergarten only facility) in 1988 in Streamwood. She was also the Director at the Wise Rd. Schaumburg and Hanover Park KinderCare locations. During those years she was also a Team Leader, Mentor for Director Training, chosen to be on the Focus Group for Gallup Poll and she earned Director of the Year Award as well. She left the field in 2003 for family reasons and later realized that her true passion was with young children and developing her staff. She returned to the field in 2010 as a Director of Operations at another Early Childhood School but returned to KinderCare in February 2017. She raised two children, both of which are now adults. Her daughter is pursuing a career working with animals and her son is currently serving in the Navy. She also has three dogs and one cat who are her "furry kids" now. Ms. Karen gets very excited watching the growth and development of the children in her schools and enjoys being a part of providing quality care and education that her parents expect. She has found that she is a great resource to her families. She seeks tools that help young families in their child's education and home life. She has often been asked if she could provide Parenting Classes due to her experience and knowledge. <br><br>Ms. Karen feels very strongly that building a foundation with each of her families and faculty provides the best opportunities for them for their futures and success. She has built strong, long term relationships throughout her schools and with former students, families and faculty. She prides herself in building and maintaining these relationships as a key to each family's growth. Her belief is that every child, no matter how old, their cultural or economic situation, deserves to be treated with ultimate care and positive direction to fulfill their desire to learn, to grow and to achieve. </p>

Ms. Sarah Henson
<p><!--block-->Ms. Sarah began her career with KinderCare in 2012 at the Hoffman Estates center. She earned her bachelor degree in Business Administration from Devry University. Throughout her years, she has worked in all age groups and loved watching the children learn and grow. Ms. Sarah has had numerous roles with KinderCare. She has been not only a teacher, but also the Health and Safety Coordinator, Assistant Director and assisted with a few schools that had to be closed over the years. She was very excited when she got a permanent role as the Assistant Director here at the Schaumburg center where she can utilize all her years of experience, knowledge and skills to grow the school. <br><br>Ms. Sarah previously worked with children with special needs. She has two young children whom she loves to watch achieve their goals. </p>

Ms. Carolyn S.
<p><!--block-->Ms. Carolyn began with KinderCare in September 2007. She has been dedicated to the Early Childhood field ever since. She attended College of DuPage where she earned her Associate in Arts in 2017. Ms. Carolyn is pursuing a career in Elementary Education. She also has been working full time at Jewel since 2015. Ms. Carolyn does all of our Brigance Screenings and Assessments when children first enroll with KinderCare and later reassesses them to evaluate their success and progress with our KinderCare programs. She also teaches our Learning Adventures Cooking Program and in addition, she is also our Health and Safety Coordinator.<br><br>Ms. Carolyn grew up in Schaumburg her whole life. Her hobbies are painting and going to the movies. She also enjoys going into the City, and spending time with her wonderful family, friends and her puppies!</p>

Ms. Kelly R.
<p><!--block-->Ms. Kelly has been working at KinderCare since October 2004. She has always had a love and desire to work with children! She has been babysitting every chance she got from the moment that she could. Knowing that was the career path she wanted, she attended Harper College studying Early childhood and Elementary Education. Ms. Kelly is married and has two beautiful daughters. One is a dancer and the other is into sports. Ms. Kelly is very involved in everything her daughters do. She never misses a game, competitions or school event. Aside from attending her daughter's functions, she enjoys reading and nature hikes. </p>

Ms. Marisa G.
<p><!--block-->Ms. Marisa attended Wright College and Truman College where she attended classes in Education. Ms. Marisa has been in the Early Childhood field since 1990. She enjoys spending time with her children and swimming. Ms. Marisa was raised in the city of Chicago and later moved to Streamwood with her family. She is a big baseball and football fan. Her favorite teams are the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. </p>
